The Network Of Writers & Artists (NOWA) is once again seeking submissions for a short story anthology. Our first anthology Road Signs was such a creative success that we’ve decided to do it again!

What kind of stories are we looking for in Uploads and Down Pillows?

We’re looking for fiction that explores the nature of reality in all its forms: life, technology, fantasy, truth vs. near-truth, the list is yours to investigate.

• What strange dreams occur when your head hits the pillow?
• What virtual worlds are waiting to be explored?
• Any shocking dichotomies and ironic contrasts come to mind?
• How do we tell the difference between truth and fake truth?
• How about unusual uploads to the Cloud or other technological aspects?
• Whatever you think fits this theme will inspire us to read.

Due date for submissions: February 1, 2027

Specs:

• Fiction only
• Word Count: 7000 words or less, including flash fiction

Send all questions and submissions to info@nowa.org.

Best regards,

The Editors at NOWA
