Tracy Ivie
has more than 15 years experience writing for corporations,
magazines, books and newspapers. A team player who works well
under pressure, she brings a fresh approach
to every job and enjoys the challenge of capturing a company's
essence in print.
Originally
trained as a journalist, she went on to write for corporate
clients in numerous areas, including health care, business,
education and the arts. Among her marketing credits are a mini-annual
report for W.R. Grace to recruit MBAs; a sales flier for Ortho-McNeil
Pharmaceutical and a script on mammography for Siemens AG.
Ivie
recently put the finishing touches on two projects that debuted
in January. She was editor of a special health and wellness
issue for New Jersey Savvy Living magazine, where she supervised
freelance writers and wrote the cover story. As a copywriter
for a new guidebook series, meanwhile, her assignment was to
write "fun" histories of New Jersey towns.
Ivie worked for seven years at the Hunterdon County Democrat
newspaper, where she served as the arts, education, and county
government editor. She was also editor of the Hunterdon Observer
and won several awards from the New Jersey Press Association.
Her
magazine credits include Working Woman, Popular Photography
and Video, where she was a contributing editor. Prior to that
Ivie traveled around the country as co-author in the book series,
"Country Inns of America," published by Holt, Rinehart and Winston,
and Architectural Digest. She also ghostwrote a 100-page resume
preparation guide for Tom Jackson, author of "Guerilla Tactics
in the Job Market."
