Levels of Membership:

MEMBERS:
Three or more years experience as a self-employed creative professional or incorporated business with two or less full-time employees. Membership includes voting privileges, inclusion in NOWA directory and portfolio showcases and a reduced rate for NOWA meetings.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS:
Between one and three years experience as a self-employed creative professional or employee with less than 49% ownership in a NOWA member's company or former NOWA regular member who cannot participate in the full range of NOWA meetings and events, but who maintains a professional relationship with the organization through the web site.

Non-voting position. Listed in the NOWA directory as an associate member. Cannot display own portfolio at showcases, but can display work completed as an employee of a NOWA member's company. Associate members (including those who may recently have been employed by NOWA members) without three years of self-employment experience may qualify for full member status at the Executive Board's discretion.
